Sheriff's deputies said the road patrol deputy's vehicle collided with a 2019 Hyundai at the intersection of routes 5 and 233 at about 2:40 p.m. Friday in Westmoreland. Both the deputy and the other driver suffered minor injuries, authorities said, and both were treated and released from Wynn Hospital in Utica.
