Delran house fire displaces dozens, 7 rescued in early morning

DELRAN — Twelve families have been affected after an early morning blaze in the Garden Club condos off of Bridgeboro Road.
The fire broke out on the 100 block of Natalie Road just after 3:30 a.m., authorities said. Seven residents had to be rescued, and at least three were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, Delran Mayor Gary Catrambone reported on social media. 
The blaze was under control by 4:30 a.m., authorities said.
Six responders from the Red Cross provided emergency assistance to 10 families totaling 25 people, according to Red Cross Regional Communications Director Diane Concannon. 
"Please keep these members of our Delran family in your thoughts today as we work together to see how we can be of help during this incredibly difficult time," Catrambone said in a Facebook post.
