Deer head found in Fort Nelson public trash can

FORT NELSON, B.C – Fort Nelson Conservation Officers are thanking the community for their help in finding information behind a fawn White-tailed Deer head found in a public garbage can.
The deer head was found near the entrance to the Demonstration forest last week. Officers spoke with the person who found the head in the forest, and it was determined a lynx killed the deer.
Officers say this is a reminder for residents to be safe when outdoors.
