“It’s okay, it could be worse right now,” said Jankovic.
It could be worse because Jankovic could be still waiting to find her college team for next fall. Instead, Jankovic knows she will be playing at D’Youville College in Buffalo next fall.

“With the recruitment process being a little bit different due to COVID, I started to take it upon myself to look for some schools that aren’t necessarily the biggest ones or the popular ones that everyone has heard of,” said Jankovic. “I had heard of D’Youville as they were transitioning into the Division II program. I had reached out to the coach and sent them some of my game film, we set up a visit, and it all went from there.”
