Cybersecurity, IT Programs in Danbury’s $99M Career Academy
The city of Danbury, Conn., has approved a new academy for middle- and high-school students that will teach cybersecurity, scientific innovation, medicine and global enterprise, among other things.

(TNS) — With Danbury's school growth outpacing other communities, city council unanimously approved on Monday night the $99-million career academy for middle- and high-school students.
"It's a win for our youngsters and not only for the town, but education as a whole for the state as a model," Superintendent Sal Pascarella said of the school that would be the first of its kind in Connecticut.
