Credit Valley Conservation is warning the public to exercise caution by waterways as we’re currently experiencing freeze-thaw cycles.
CVC also advises to keep pets and small children away from waterways as changing temperatures make ice conditions unpredictable and unstable.
Island Lake Conservation Area is closed today and will remain closed until ice conditions on the lake are safe.
