State Seal of Biliteracy, which goes on diplomas, helps open doors for graduating high schoolers: 'This is a big deal' – Chicago Tribune

Thousands of students statewide will receive their Seal of Biliteracy this spring. It's a special notation that will be displayed on their high school diploma and transcript that formally recognizes graduating high school students who have achieved a high proficiency in English and another language.
