C. Im pleased by being joined by my distinguished colleague here for Colorado Springs colorado. For 70 years of the commission when it is a bipartisan independent body since 1948 assess and recommend partisan programs and support of all u. S. Government to inform and influence the politically but not limited to the department of state and u. S. Agency local media the commission mandated by law to reporting explain its findings and president the United States, congress, secretary of state and of course the American People the year the comprehensive annual report on Public Diplomacy is the acps premier product it compiles and analyze is for over stay Department Officers another u. S. He proving the effectiveness and efficiency of the u. S. Government speedy program. Since fiscal year 2013 the, commission has made 112 recommendations, roughly 55 of which have been implemented are in the process of being implemented as a result improved Program Program effectiveness and the reason we are here today and im pleased to say is the proposed merger of the boroughs of Public Affairs and International Information programs into what is now known as the hero of Global Public affairs. The gps creation has been this guy described as the he did the u. S. Information its hard to believe the times gone basically. We are very fortunate to have an assistant secretary of state as well as the both here today to help us understand what he was Public Diplomacy. Donation appreciates this opportunity policy changes underway challenges remaining in which the commission and public, the the again thank you all for joining us here today now i am pleased to invite you a secretary of state its very lovely to be involved. I love be involved theyre excited to talk to today. As you know theres never been more can you hear me . There we go. Better . Getting here now . Okay. Never been more exciting and important for diplomacy and how the United States is communicating both policy and values in every corner of the world. It is kind of policy environment Foreign Policy environment the thinking it would put behind this merger is make sure that we can accelerate and deliver on what we are in charge of doing and effectively communicate for the United States around the world. We know that the Communications Landscape is fast accelerating, it is changing every day theres a new platform, technology is driving a lot of changes this the, our way our, ai, the acp report about whether or not Public Diplomacy can survive the internet was gone indication of where things are going and coming fast. We know that business and media and culture and entertainment and government are all colliding. They dont sit in separate worlds anymore. There are all integrated. We need to communicate in that kind of environment where things really from a government perspective also impact culture and vice versa. We know that the Foreign Policy issues that we are dealing with it on any given day, or most, if not all multi regional, multinational in nature. We have to look at things through a lens, a global lens to communicate effectively and think about all the audiences that we are trying to reach. So in that type of environment again, our focus is ready to bring together the best of both worlds from Public Affairs from, ip the strength of both of them have to really exonerate and it has the ability of the United States the compete in the world today. It wasnt an internal driven thing, it was an external driven thing we have to be able to compete to lead, and win, and be successful in the world today. So being able to do that meant integrating again the strength the best of both worlds. That means communicating both the u. S. And foreign audiences so the domestic focus and also foreign focus. How do we think about both of those. Also communicates communicating about policy and. Values Foreign Policy, pei was normally focused on communicating, rich storytelling in value driven on ip was going to international audiences. How do we think about both of those in communicating america to the world. Really talk about the values that make america unique and part of our long standing history the rule, of law, individual liberty, religious freedom. Things like that. They wasnt the first time that a merger was explored or thought about in fact its a beauty put together a recommendation for it to have a number of years ago. We had conversations with alumni from the state department within or without who had previously explored the merger before, forward thinking. The difference this time we think again the external world. Theres an urgency to the ability, to the need for the United States to communicate effectively. So i wanted to make sure to deliver on that. We have tremendous amount of leadership from secretary to make sure to empower the state Department Team to make with changes and lead to do our jobs most effectively and so we knew that we had that support. Nikole well talk a little bit more about that and how we accomplished the merger here is the focus bringing together the best of both worlds. First and foremost integration, i use that word a lot. How would bring it together the best of both. Well the strengths again from storytelling and communicating values and understanding foreign audiences and working with host to understand audience is on the ground, culture, language on the ground, narrative on the ground and bring that to our storytelling and with the Public Affairs night, strategic communication, realtime environment how are we thinking about both of those together. Secondly, we placed a very large emphasis on data and insides and Research Analysts analytics. One of the tremendous opportunities that technology is riveted us Digital Communication has provided us is being able to measure in some cases in realtime, how effectively and quickly we can communicate on any given issue. As well as long term Audience Research over time we are making an impact which basically i know there really explode for a number of years with place really big emphasis on how open data inside the core of communicating to be able to not only measure at the backhand how we are communicating, but really and form how we are designing strategy in communication and our message. Informing its beginnings were measuring along the way and improving in realtime as close to realtime as possible. The speed wasnt new cycle, we know the new cycle is moving instantaneously. How are we working together to be able to deliver on, that to get our message out to make sure that the truth is out there, to force some countered narratives for folks out there in the world. Really effective in fast with how we are communicating in addition to long term creation. Lastly, we really focused on future proofing the bureau. We didnt want to design the bureau just for 2019, 2018 when we started. 2019 now right. We want to make sure we are setting ourselves up for success of five, to ten years down the line and that means having written in our structure in the way that we work a focus on exploring new platforms, new technologies, best practices. Not only in technology but in person communication relationship building. Future proofing future Public Affairs and constantly improving, evolving, changing as fast or ahead of the Communications Landscape in the world today. That was really big focus of. Our ip has had a very great strength and doing that over the course of the last two years and thats why we want to make sure that was still part of the culture in the murder. Im very collaborative after it was very deliberate after nicole well talk about the way that we made this happen collaboration some really important all across who with all the other external state hold i will turn it over to nicole to explain. Well im really happy to be here and be able to talk to you about the team how we put this together. Michelle has laid out the vision behind the merger the creation of the bureau Public Affairs. Let me tell you a bit about the. How last year we put together a working group as michelle mentioned representatives from across the department we make sure to have colleagues from hr, make sure we were considering all potential hr issues. We were thinking about what the budget might look like and also senior peter professionals so we can get the benefit of their experience. My mike . Okay got it. So we can get the benefit of their experience and incorporate their thoughts into this. Some so we gave the team a basic framework and so we lean on them to put a plan together. So what the framework insisted. Up first Strategic Communications, that was a purpose of the merger, but also to look at the capabilities on iip and pei and look at where them, if they didnt fit into a Strategic Communications bureau, where the maybe successfully housed and within the state department. The merger was to be budget neutral. We were not asking for any additional funding for this. We were numb we were trying to future prove this. We wanted to build a structure that would last into the future, that wasnt based on personalities, anything like that. But a structure that would really last in the future. We want to make the best use of all of our employees skills and abilities to make sure the ended up in places where they could really utilize their talents. So to put a plan together. Developed, it we looked at it and then we continue to consult throughout the department. We talked a cpd, we engaged our legal colleagues to make sure that we were thinking about how we communicate to domestic and foreign audiences. We continue to engage with budget and Human Resources to make sure that we were thinking about all of those issues. We make sure that we had all the details right because really, as you know, the devil is in the details, thats the hard part. We get some additional briefs to the hill, employee unions the sea weather concerns might be to incorporate any feedback that they gave us some. Then we started working on implementation. That was a really hard work, making the changes. Through implementation we set up some working groups so that we could illicit brought contribution abroad participation from the workforce, we wanted to make sure that folks within my i. T. And pay a had the opportunity to have their voices heard, we were taking into consideration their thoughts as we were moving forward with implementation. We prioritize regular communication, michelle and i sent out regular communication talking about a process, about what was going to happen. We took input from the field, from pose, from regional heroes, we sent out a survey to Public Diplomacy professionals to see how they wanted to partner with a new bureau and what they had valued most from the old ip and pei so we want to think what we want to continue in the new bureau. The emphasis has been during the period on communication and continues to be on communication. We are now fully functional, now for the past two months. We are still fairly new but we continue to focus on our communication with the bureau and within a state department to make sure that our colleagues domestically, and acted post around the world understand what a partner we can be in communicating about American Values and Foreign Policy priorities. We recognize them the posed are often best equipped to communicate a bilateral relationship, but we have a distinct advantage and communicating again about key Foreign Policy priorities and on American Values. When its part of the ongoing planning. We will continue to engage with others as well. Disengagement here is part of spreading the word but with the new bureau will do and we have to continue with a cpd team and how we may continue to improve our communications a state department. Thank you. One of the things that nicole touched on before we turn it over to questions is this idea to engage and improve. One thing we talk about with all our team members as this process what has been what our values are. One of the core values to Global Public affairs is change. Because we know to the world outside of us is changing quickly. Because of technology, because of the way the world is accelerating. We have tried but none of the center of how we are communicating to our team, changes can be constant, consistent its good to be required if were gonna keep up before gonna be effective and what we do. We are trying to in green that is part of our culture. No that we didnt solve everything right away or this is its not a static thing. Our team is gonna have to keep evolving in learning and changing in the bureaus gonna have to keep evolving in learning and changing to make sure that we are able to deliver on our objective, which is to communicate on behalf of the United States. Even made that clear when we were working with Hr Department that we were gonna go to keep making changes and weeks to make the bureau as effective as we can. Okay. Thank you both for coming today. For such incredible news and description of what you have done. I have to say congratulations. On changing a major peace strongly ingrained bureaucracy its no small feat. Youve done it with such grace and competence so thats awesome. What were gonna do now is take some questions from the audience about the new gba bureau before i want to start with a bit of a softball i was thinking about this when you were describing it but it seems that finally the creation of the gba has perhaps, and you guys can see whether or not, has elevated pd functions to a place where but got more respect within the state department i know because i was a young u. S. I officer back in the day, the media function was always seen as a little bit lesser and maybe now youve been able to create a status and career focus that didnt exist before. Maybe you can comment on that . I think we hope that to be true. We think that the Energy Around this the impact that it has makes that true. We want to tie and storytelling in the way in which we communicate around values to. Policy priorities, some things that are at the center of the conversation now, why we are still communicating long term either in the field across the world. Ive been in a state department in the year and a half an even in that short amount of time from the time i got there until now the way that the department has been elevated him until now, and is seen a central not only sharing values but in accomplishing policy objectives has become more apparent to folks in and out of the pd world. The same is true the private Sector Marketing is core to how business gets its worked. On the same for beating. Home state department to diplomacy, speaking to i was talking to somebody that everything is transparent everything is part of the narrative now part of the conversation. I am hoping that peter has been elevated through. This hopefully we contributed to. That i like to jump in for just a second. Im from Foreign Service Public Diplomacy you know its barr inaudible laughs im excited by this because i think it has elevated Public Diplomacy. And a place at the table in those policy conversations about the message components and how we talk about American Values is core when we are looking at policy implementation so i am excited. Some who wants libre from the audience, i assume, go ahead. Brave women in the front. Thank you. Can you just say we . You are yes absolutely. My name is greta morris. I am retired career Public Diplomacy service officer, congratulations to both of you and to everyone whos been involved in this incredible process, which i have also been involved in a very small way. Nonetheless, its been an exciting process. I just wanted to ask about the name of the new bureau when the borough of Global Public affairs Public Affairs and public next generation Public Affairs what we diplomacy, this seems like Public Diplomacy part has gotten kind of lost in this new title and im just wondering how you are sort of thinking im Public Affairs, Public Diplomacy, there used to be a distinction Public Affairs was when we did it domestically and then but what we did overseas with Foreign Policy and post im just wondering how all of this factored in your decision about the name for the new bureau thank you very much the name was the last thing we decided on cars was a rigorous conversation about the name and what it meant and symbolized. To your point, i think at the state department of Public Affairs has been synonymous with Domestic Communications Public Diplomacy and we tried to break out of that mindset and think about the Public Affairs, and disassociate with the committee commit communicating about the policy to be. Again, i use integration with this and we want to think about that together that is not that we are doing both together cars were very well aware but whether we think about that together. If you that can think about how the communicating domestically then digital has made that a fact. We want to communicate that we are focused on Public Affairs in a broader sense and communicating about both policy and value in a global way. So global and Public Affairs. It was a large robust conversation. Thank you to the panel for coming. My name is jonathan. Im a student of the state department and its history. My question to the panel is, it seems like there is this normative executive, diplomatic reading and writing of practice about the nature of Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy. Thats the first thing. It also seems like some people are privy to those conversations and the making of those procedures and policies and are people there arent. How do you make the state department more inclusive to be historically maybe not part of that executive narrative . Im not sure i understand the question. Were all public diplomats when we travel. So, even if there is a school of thought in theory that we are working from its that an Academic Institution will always have diplomacy that you can obviously participated when he travel and have experiences. We welcome people here as well so i dont know if thats the kind of answer that youre looking for but i know know how else you on his answer it then with a very specific practice inside the department of state that is a professional hole cone experience and yet if you are interested as a civilian, you can practice it in your own life but lets go to the next question. William lawrence, professor here at g. W. And two questions. I just came up with as a Foreign Service officer i was frustrated by this in large part because the American Public its clueless in many ways about diplomacy and a lot of not communicating with the respect for months and wondering what you might be trying to do to have more diplomat be speaking to the American Public in other ways and other ways to what u. S. Foreign policy needs. We had it up every year having to defend projects and the general public does not have much view on it. The second question is, its very clear to me that youre integrating a lot of things here does everything get integrated just to stay on their own theres with its functions that have to be separate and not everything has to be integrated all the time and thats the concern im hearing about the integration that somehow we came over and messaging with your Foreign Policy. Ill take the part to. Let me take this question first, yes we have just had a conversation last week with our legal colleagues to talk through and the digital age and access content from anywhere how you make this work and were still working with them on that to make sure that we are producing content that is meant to influence for an audience that is going to a foreign audiences in that that were using tear correct funding for that there. Still a robust conversation ongoing about making sure that russia staying on the right side of it. They will admit themselves that they probably dont go far enough for us in the way the Digital World works right now so im conversations and resource to meet next me to continue this conversation. On the integration piece we have an integrated policy with what we are doing, its integrating all the communication specialty functions as part of the spectrum of how we need to communicate to the world. But rest assured, we still have to sting groups and officers that are doing specifically in specialized things. Its more so how are getting into Work Together so that the right people at the right table at the right time in seeking how we institute a strategy or create a message. We have analytics at the table that will decide which to use for the audience so we have contact creators and digital folks that are at the right moments and from the beginning i have been well aware that they have designed and the magic of how you come together in this process so in that respect, were more focused on integration in the way its grown up together. Thanks inaudible very much. I thank you very much for the presentation. Im david, im the last voice of america director before the encourage one. Its great to see you both here and see you again michelle. My question is about something that came up when i was in office and i imagine if you are working with smith moment the voices of america we found we had to get out of the way when a very determined group of immigrant americans and somali americans from minnesota and others came to us and said, why cant we hear youre broadcasts . We had to explain to them that is okay fine we went to the hill and we want this change and want to be able to hear the podcast and here that were in somalia so they lead that charge and is our role to be involved yet to answer questions but it opened up opportunities for america in terms of reaching the communities around the world frankly who were somali or any other. How is this reorganization if at all going to create new opportunities for you in terms of the communities in the United States and communicate through them to the mother country of origin or to other groups is free and is there any further need to allow you to do more than youre doing now. To your first question i think a large part of our conversation and our focus on bringing data and insights into analytics to the core of how we operate is making all of our Communication Strategies audience centric. So designing Campaign Strategies around who are trying to influence so i think before thinking about how are going to engage our communities or ask for american or foreign who are audiences but their best way to reach them is a research and add a little audience that can do that. We do have a office of engagement focus on communicating in the United States with communities that are interested and who are engaged in a Foreign Policy. They are integrated of communications but definitely part of using our Data Analytics to inform how the audience is in that will help improve all of them. Michelle mentioned her office for engagement in part of what we want to do with this merger is make our domestic outreach more attainable. Who are we trying to reach with what message. We know what our audience is and what we want to message. Where are we sending in them and why and we will take a look at that. To be very clear to be very clear the, law is the law and were abiding with it. Legalize been part of the conversation since day one in the first day that we got working together so we were designing the bureau and the work flow and how we operate to aligned fully with this one. Is it worth a conversation in making sure that we are exploring the merits of it and the ways of which we are certainly. But the goal always being how is the United States community affecting this to an american audience that is appropriately in the a cbd in with smiths mauve and would certainly be worth the conversation. Thank you im a retired pd officer. My question is about the are structure and how it evolves into constituent bureaus and you see the bureau of cultural and educational exchanges and if i could do a followup to an earlier question, when there is a crisis, are we in better shape to have a seat at the table with policy where policy decisions are made when foreign opinion equities are made for with a success or failure of Foreign Policy thank you . Let me talk about your educational and Cultural Affairs think of that question. I mentioned we laid out a framework for how the merger should happen, the Global Bureau of Public Affairs was based on a Strategic Communications. We know they were functions within ip nba that didnt necessarily fit within that the narrowly focused goal when we looked at that we thought also where were these good functions, good diplomacy tools. So part of the conversation part of the conversation was thinking about department of Cultural Affairs would be a good home absolutely. As for example the Speakers Program has been moved in the bureau of educational and Cultural Affairs as americans spaces and we are very happy to have their support for this program. Other programs were also moved to other parts of the department and also to our Resource Office so we really looked at this that what was the second part of the . Question you inaudible also how do you see the structure evolving. Theres no undersecretary now do we need one . How does the structure evolve . Yes. Im feeling the role right now as acting undersecretary but just as we were talking earlier with change. It depends on the world and how best to achieve our job. Now with the work that weve done collaborating with folks not only in previous the a and i ap but also across the department largely, with come up with a really strong organizational structure to achieve those Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy d. C. Is focused on camera and missing information in this information so really strong set of Public Diplomacy, teams and tools right now. Certainly, we should always be open to conversation and how to continuously improving evolve to make sure that we are doing our job most effectively. Lets go all the way to the back because i feel that inaudible thank you. I am director of a inaudible weve been through a very similar process in berlin in recent years. Before this background my question, with with your institutional change have effect on how you work in the field in different countries. What we did, or what we are about to do currently, is the setup a regional Public Diplomacy offices for various regions in the world. Do you think about a similar direction . The goal behind the merger was to really create a bureau that would be a good partner for the field, for our regional bureaus and for our post. We do currently with the state Department Structure have regional Public Diplomacy officers that are the first point of contact, and the liaison with our post. What we hope to do through this merger and as we continue to work closely with our partners in the department, is to make sure that we are best partner, the best collaborator for our regional viewers and for our post. Theres one other in the back. Over there im a student my question is i have two questions. My first is how much of this merger in fact the daylights of the officers. And you mentioned what are some of the challenges that youve encountered and how you addressing them . Thank you for that question thats a good one. The impact on folks within ip and pei cia and different parts of our family here domestically, it had quite an impact because it meant that were being reorganized individuals were being reorganized into a new structure, some may be tapping into different skill sets, doing different work, to work in different colleagues of that that have quite a bit of an impact. On the field, frankly, having worked in the field, i just wanted to know where it needed to get my information in my programs. As long as i had a good point of contact and could do, that i was pretty happy. So thats what we are trying to do, we are trying to build that this relationship, continues to strengthen our relationships with our post so they know who they come to for programming, from aca, Creative Content from gps. Then your second question about the challenges, i think its been challenges and opportunities with any major change. It was the largest restructuring it stayed in 20 years. Making sure that we are over communicating, communicating insistently so that our team and folks across the department really understood again the intent of what we were doing. How we are providing a service, to other colleagues in the department other folks in the field. So making sure the communication is top of the mind, theres always bumps in a row with his changes, process is very big and really important to stay department. We want to make sure to get all those nuances right. We are still improving and learning with what we are doing. With working groups, like we mentioned that we set, up there really important and trying to get us as most riders possible from the. Beginning we decided ourselves we leaned on more than 100 150 colleagues and try to come up in the best ways to work with i think that really helps get us off the right foot them. Hello. I was in the Previous Administration Previous Administration i see some familiar faces. My question for the other secretary which really gets the point about intent. Not integration and the sort of act to bring us bureaus together because i know enough to know how challenging that is a night thank you service on that. But its more leveling up and also what is Public Diplomacy. This sort of a range that is planned in my time which was telling american story which is sort of the all usa a slogan which is, explaining america to the world and then using the Information Space Public Engagement as a tool to advance Foreign Policy engagement i think we see that would usually and rapid radicalization efforts its less about louis im John Armstrong enjoying this but understanding target audiences just one policy priorities the only one i heard from a Public Diplomacy standpoint, im interested in how you said about this work with the idea of Public Diplomacy was a tool to achieve Public Policy goal as simply just a way to educate people about america. To conclude, one of you predecessors got in trouble for talking about marketing as part of diplomacy to catch up i forgot her name, someone you all remember. She was a Corporate Executive who saw marketing in Public Diplomacy united as well but i found culturally that what the rub people the wrong way Foreign Service and i am interested in your experience, driving change strategically, not just financially great to me you, ive heard good things about all the great changes you brought source ice to meet you. As far as using Public Diplomacy as a tool to achieve policy objectives, thats been at the center of the conversation. Public diplomacy cant exist and asylum and we dont just communicate we have to think about how to advance the Overall Mission of the state department the Overall Mission of the United States overseas as well as in the United States. Again, its less about how we are designed to structurally and more have how it works and that has been the very critical part about setting up the working groups when weve leaned on Public Diplomacy officers and folks within topple affairs and the legacy to come up with the best way to get policy gpa at the center of the conversation so that we shape it from the front and along the way i continue to find tune in so that were a partner and how that is done versus just communicating our own. Go for it. inaudible thank you, Matthew Wallin im part of the diplomacy of serve purity project. Our talk about values because and the concept of promoting the values and at the same time there is an enormous disagreement on both sides of the aisle about what those values actually are and having practiced them. All we can ask emily different questions by once the subtle idea of a free press and a free press by its very nature with his adversarial in a sense. How the executive branch handles that. We talk about free press around the world and the organizations like voice of america to explain how America Works in the core values that are working for our constitution. How do you square that with some of the statements the president has made up of the rule of the free press and perhaps free press should necessarily be adversarial . Also going against i would say a government wide reduction in a number of press briefings that were in the department back working in the press office. Where the Daily Press Briefing and that doesnt seem to happen anymore its every few weeks. How do you square that discussion with practice . As part of this conversation at with the burger weve had International Relations over here and to make sure that were around the clock engaging with the press and its been at the core of Public Affairs for out history and continues to be. Weve given the press every single day and they sit in the state department and interacting with them all the time and the secretary has been at the podium several times and is one year plus in the state department and continues to go with the press domestic and foreign every single day. With regard to press briefings, why the great advantages of Digital Media is that there multiple ways for us to do a press briefing. Theres a podium in our spokesperson will take it to the podium and have a conversation or will do a video briefings with International Media and six media houses around the world in london, johannesburg, dubai and mia miami. Were looking to get state department principles out on those to engage with Regional Media all across the world. We also engage digitally. If you look at our social Media Channels they will start to look more digital in the briefings from a digital podium if you will. Weve been creative and how to best communicate with the direct foreign audiences and with the people of the United States and across there. We only have time for a few more questions, assistance secretary nicole mitch and michelle after leave shortly so just a couple more questions. Its a lets keep going. Hello my name is Brandon Andrews former staffer, participating in our Public Diplomacy group its been really cool to see the changes over the past couple of years. Since leaving capitol hill and becoming entrepreneur, other things i do casting for abc shortening and because of that of participated as a speaker and Public Diplomacy programs in several countries. Question is what is your plan to engage folks like me, who have participated as speakers as you transition pick up monumental in transition and had come we participated even if we are not participating in speakers im sure not Everybody Knows about Public Diplomacy the way i do because in my background russias interest there if you have any thoughts on the plan . Let me talk about Speaker Program because i love that program. Its an excellent program. Thats one of the programs that we thought would be better housed in the borough of educational and Cultural Affairs. It is still operating, it is vibrant we send speakers overseas daily and it is a great way to message on u. S. Policy priorities, on u. S. American values to foreign audiences to share expertise with foreign audiences. It is a great program. As far as im how we engage folks in the conversation and keep it going, im actually looking to my colleagues and to see if theres some way we can continue the conversation and get new input. Its excellent to hear from you and your question what do we nice to get more opportunities to do that thank. Question thank you Brian Carlson forming basket and Public Policy i want to talk more about share america dubbed its a product that i have seen, i dont feel like the guidance that you were talking about in terms of authenticity and frankness. In my experience, seven embassies overseas i would never even imagine shown this to anyone but i want to you could talk about not just how its foreign how you could pull that and make it the needs embassies and Public Affairs officers in the field . Share america is a platform for content to be used by our post overseas. Our hub also uses some of the content as well. It ran, it runs the gamut between communicating key Foreign Policy points and also American Values. You will find a mix of content on that platform, it is publicly accessible so that you go to the platform but its not really meant to be a destination site. So it is a place where our post and full contents and to make sure that they have vibrant content for the digital platforms. We are continuing to look at how we best use that tool and what this Creative Content looks like. The conversation about what share america becomes, where it goes as part of what we are looking at through this merger and how we most effectively them post give post the tools they need. I think, i am sorry, i think we will have to cut it off there. I want to thank you guys both for such an honest and open exchange. Thank you. Just be willing to come today. And me the. Public thanks for having. Us applause now i would like to handed out to bill who will close it off. On behalf of the commission i want to thank all of you for being here certainly our speakers today and the provocative questions that you have seen what will have another open meeting with the commission and january we will discuss and preview what the commission will be doing in terms of our efforts to deal with disinformation in my line information on Campaign Technical problem this concludes a program. inaudible
