Reentering. We have that com back with bob and doug, you heard agps is converging. Dragon has 3gps units that it uses. Actually in the parachute deployment process. As it helps along with the pressure censors really give a solid altitude to the Flight Computers on when these are supposed to deploy. We are standing by for the drogue chute deployment, we are under five minutes away from splash down. Passing 15 kilometers, brace for drogue window. We are braised. Just about 14 kilometres in another tuesday. 8. 4 miles continuing to descent. There on your screen we have a shot of the capsule as it is preparing to deploy the initial parachutes, the drogue parachute. Again, these parachutes help slow the vehicle down. Even further, and help stabilize in preparation for main chute deployment. Right about now the capsule is going about 400 miles per hour. Did he celebrating quickly. And standing by for drogue deploys. Visual two drogues out. There on the screen we have visual confirmation of the two drogue december h deployment. 2 of 2 the drogues now out they will do their slowing and stabilizing of the dragon spacecraft. They should be detaching in just a few moments. And then well see four parachutes, the main parachutes deployed. Dragon under drogues. Drogue descent rate nominal. The expected decent rate. The expected velocity out of the drogues nominal. Right at around 150 miles an hour and dropping. You can see the drogues now detach. And there we have confirmation of deployment of the four main parachutes. We are visual on four chutes out. We are visual. Four main parachutes deployed. So at this point the main parachutes have deployed. They are inflating as you can see on your screen, continuing to slow dragon down significantly. We are anticipating splash down in just under two minutes and 30 seconds. We are already slowed the vehicle down to about 16 miles an hour. Its already less than a kilometer in altitude. Main chute descent rate nominal. Passing 3700 meters. Through 700 meters. So at this point dragon has saved all Propulsion Systems on board. 600 meters. 600 meters. And we are 600 meters above the gulf of mexico. Should be approximately a minute 30 from splash down. Mission control team here in hawthorne has reported the precise landing coordinates to the recovery team. They are standing by, ready to go get our space dads. [ inaudible ] we have just passed about 30. One minute until splash down. 200 meters. We are braced for splash down. Copy, brace for splash down. So there we heard bob and doug reported that they are bracing for splash down. We should be able to see the gulf of mexico here and the shot just momentarily. And on your screen there, you can see our two fast boats and they are indeed fast. Racing out to greet dragon endeavor as it sits there. The first we can see a few inside the capsule. Bob and doug looking good. Although the communication was a little choppy we did hear Spacex Enderle three dez knowledge one we show ourselves in stable one. And spacex copies for vehicle assessment, step 3. 1 stable one. Good news. Their up right in the water, stable two also another potential where it could be on itsy side or upside down but dragon has a water balance at system to keep it up right where its able to pump sea water in to the blatters in the Service Section of the capsules but they are up right we can seat the fast poach approaches. They touched down, came right on time. At 11 48 a. M. Pacific. 18 48 bob and doug in the water the recovery ops have already begun, we can see the fast boats starting to move in. We are still maintain the good communication back with bob and doug and the team here in hawthorne. We were being getting the go for move n beginning hyper and wrangle up the mayor parachutes, we can see bob and doug inside the kansas sewell back on planet earth. The fast boats perform a sniffer test to make sure the air around the vehicle doesnt have any toxin fuels from the hyper goal i can propellants on board. Once we get the all clear from there. The Water Recovery lead gives the go the first fast boat will approach the capsule. Hopefully give a wave to bob and dug through the window. One of the team membered will actually climb on top of crew dragon and begin to place the rigging equipment necessary to hoist dragon out of the water. Still getting a view from the w, the airplane flying overhead. It gave us those great views, really our first views of bob and doug reenter the earths atmosphere from up above. You can see the four parachutes in the water. We heard those were cut automatically. As expected by dragon. So for now, the crew just standing by. Again they stay in their suits in their seats, we are waiting for all these initial checks. Dragon spacex com check. Cloud clear. How about us . Loud and clear as well. Just wanted to verify quick com reconfigure vague. Thank you. So what just happened there is a reconfigure if you can just relay your status of the fast boats and recovery as you get them. , we would appreciate. You bet, absolutely. Doug. Will do. What just happened there, you heard com coms reconfiguration, looping bob and dougs communication in to the launch or in to the recovery team. So that if they can hear feedback from bob and doug directly as well. Now, we talked about spacex endeavor you can let ben and james know we are doing good so far. Okay, well let the flight docs know you are feeling good so far. Thatch for the update. Good news to hear that they are feeling good. And they can let the flight surgeons know that all is well inside dragon endeavor. It sounds like we have one of the folks on location there with the recovery forces, nasas brandy dean, shes been shes joining us by satellite phone. What is it like there in the water in what was it like to watch them splash down . Stand by on the console. Expect personnel aside alongside in just under a minute. Thank you, copy. Thank you. All right, so they are starting to move in. The first one goes in and minnesota sniffs around the capsule for any traces of hypergolic. The second one round up the parachutes which we are getting cool ruse have the tw. B57 still flying overhead look down, you can see the parachutes in the water and the second boat star to gather them up. Wall try one more time real quibble. We have nasas brandy dean with the recovery forces if you can hear me, what was it like to watch the dragon come down under pair chute. Ipairparachutes. It was amazing, a beautiful, gorgeous day, i wish everybody could have nigh view. Water is calm the best weather we could ask for little and we heard the sonic boops as it made [ inaudible ]as the parasites were deployed exciting for everybody gathered here. Thats incredible. We actually have some questions from people if you would be able to hear the sonic boom and we were not sure little so i am read are really good you justified answered that for us. We talked so much about the weather. It looks great. What was it like on the way out there just clear skies and seas the whole way . Aim no sure if you can hear me right now. I think you are asking about the weather whether it was clear skies just a circle of clouds along the horizon very low, but we were time see the chutes far above and follow it wall the wait until it splash down. We are not getting any views on the boat, so what kind of activity is taking place, swing he had fast boats approaching the capsule. What is everybody doing on the boat to just kind of get everything ready . The boat is making its way to the capsule. One the other fast boat is collecting the hair parachutes from the water. To bring them back on board with us. We should see one of the team members crawl up on to the side of the capsule in order to install that install the rigging like i mentioned. That particular team member is highly experienced and highly trained. As you can imagine. Climb on the ground top of an oddlyshaped thing in, you know, the ocean, could be a little tricky. So this person has undergone a lot hours and hours of training and certification in order to perform this very important task. There on the righthand side of your screen screen we can see the second fast boat approaching. Of course both of these boats needed to wait for their cue from the Water Recovery lead in order to approach dragon after splash down. Again, that was just to make sure that there were not any toxic vapors in the air and now that they got the all clear, we do see them beginning to work on and around the dragon capsule. Of course though the camera is shaky that water looks super, super duper smooth. Almost like class, which is certainly ideal for a agai
