Been critical of President Trump. And its an honor to have you here. Here. S an honor to be ive been a lifelong democrat, but i dont think theres been republican ever did for more than maybe abraham lincoln. Ill take that. What wed like to get a sense from you here is what your path is, to the extent of media marketing. I know youre not an expert. Youve been a radio talk show host. But if i do a Google Search for you right now, the first organic search that comes up from global google says thats not a set up for a joke. I think that your own paid search. Sorry. Googles talking to why should we take you seriously . I dont know that you should. I hope you do. Lets be clear from the outset, i announced about five months ago that this former congressman was going to take on a sitting president named trump. Nobody in their right mind should think about doing this unless you have a really good reason. It is easily the most freaking difficult thing i have ever done. I come from a certain place politically. Most of the people in that world politically love trump. I have lost my friends, my supporters, i get threats all the time. It has been difficult. The party has tried to whack me every single day. I am doing it. I got into it knowing it would be difficult. Im many things, but im not dumb. I knew it would be difficult. I thought it was important. I believe hes unfit. It is that message we have led with. I know who i am, i know this isnt going to be easy, but the guy in the white house scares me, he should scare everybody. We have led with that message in everything we do. Can you talk about your strategy with media . I know you dont have a super fundraising budget yet. Although, hopefully it will come. Mike bloomberg doesnt have our money, not even close. Delayed reaction from the audience. If i had Mike Bloombergs money, oh my god, the things i could do. Heres what i knew intrinsically going in. I found this out on the first or second day of campaigning of talking to real voters, not the idiots, sean hannity and those paid to protect trump. When you talk to real Republican Voters, they are tired of this president. We just led with absolute naked honesty. This is a long shot. We are going to do guerrilla style things. We are going to go on twitter, facebook, every avenue we can to put our message out there. We are not going to lie to people and say we have a great chance to win. We tried from the getgo to get on national tv a lot. That has been difficult, because again, fox news and the conservative media world wants nothing to do with me. Fox news accidentally had me on in midseptember. It was an accident. Stewart didnt want me on. On, you can tell you did not want me on, because you can tell he did not want me on, because he was in a really bad mood. It finally got to the point where we went back and forth and i asked him a question. He said the president never lies. I asked him if donald trump ever told a lie to the american people, and he said no. I asked him again. That went viral. Fox news wants nothing to do with me ever since. We have understood that we have to get a little bit of magic, on a much smaller scale on the republican side like what Pete Buttigieg did on the democrat side, when he caught magic and he had the cnn town hall. And then all of a sudden, he became the thing. We have tried to do that on a smaller scale on the republican side using the tools i can use. If i might suggest, make your name harder to pronounce. Something must be working, because even with the loss of your conservative media base, you have lost your own outlets, your own talk shows through d. Lem communications and win something is working, because just this week, we did our own research. I was struck earlier in the week, we received a wordofmouth study on democratic candidates, conversations tracking from the voter base of democratic registered voters. I asked them if they had anything on republicans and they said no. In our own research, we used the same methods and registered Republican Voters. In the past week, the conversations tracking the candidates, you score about 10 . If you dont mind putting the next slide up, to compare how it contrasts with the democratic candidates, it would put you summer between somewhere between Pete Buttigieg and andrew yang. Take that, andrew yang. And you are not giving away any money at this point . I wish i had his money. How do you react to that question how do you react to that . Part of it is we have been very aggressive in and i dont want this to sound negative when you are in a position like this and do what im doing, you are trying to put this face wherever you can put it. We announced at the end of august, and there isnt a media outlet we have turned down, no outlet we have turned down, no podcast we have turned down. We are like crazy on twitter and facebook. We put out a lot of videos. I think it is just being really aggressive, and i do think its the message, old, young, white, black and brown, wherever you are in the audience, whoever you are, this is a unique time in american politics. People have strong opinions about that guy in the white house. I think a lot of it is, there was a bit of a yearning to have somebody on our side hounding them every day, even among republicans. The irony is we are talking to republican registered voters. Saying is true, that you have been shut out of the conservative right wing media, i would be curious. I would bet that mainstream and the left media is talking about me more than conservative media. I would imagine on that spectrum , i would be up there somewhere. There has been great receptivity. We have had to use that and work more mainstream and leftist media because we are united in the cause of what i am doing. Host the other thing we noticed is what an insurmountable incumbency donald trump has. I am surprised he doesnt have 100 conversation in the party, but that is what it showed. There is another chart i want to put up. We also asked what the sentiment was of those conversations. No surprise, people are polarized on donald trump, they are either positively for him or against him, even within his own party. You and your competitor, bill weld, look like there is more tremendous more upside for you to gain people and to gain positive respect basically. Joe so, it is very polarizing right now. I guess the messenger that i am, and the message i have taken forth is trying to rise above the polarization. I am a tea Party Conservative who hates donald trump. That kind of rises above the tribal nature of politics we are in right now and paradoxically, i think there is a great yearning, especially among independents and democrats, for us to move away from the tribal aspect of our politics. I dont think you see that as much in the conservative world, they are still into the tribal nature because their guy is the king, but i think the message we have been putting out there has been received favorably by people outside of fox news. Joe when you get into the general election, you can draw from the other side, but at this point, your goal is to move the needle on this constituency. How are you going to do that . Mr. Walsh it will not be easy. Again, just for some context, it is difficult to take on a sitting president , difficult to take this president on because he literally does and i know this, because these are the people who listen to me on the radio every single day. When donald trump says, as he said, i can shoot somebody in the middle of manhattan and my supporters will still support me, he speaks the truth. I love to pause after that. [laughter] he speaks the truth. There will be a decent part of that base i can never pick off even though they like where i am on the issues. Joe, that is a small percentage of the Republican Party. You read these polls that say donald trump has 90 support among republicans. Bull[expletive]. Every single day i am bumping into people who have left the Republican Party because of him. So i think theres a decent chance to fight him to a draw. A decent chance. There is a chance to fight him to a draw, and with him and all the bad stuff that he does every day, who knows politically what lives could look like in two or three months. Joe lets talk about the path over those next months. What is your strategy for you have been blacklisted by the base media, closed out of primaries, i think it is 20 states now . Mr. Walsh 10 have officially closed their primaries, another 10 are trying or making it really difficult. Joe so what is the path to a nomination in that scenario . Mr. Walsh and on top of that, the factor, the media factor, the communications factor i place on top of that is impeachment. I announced a month before the ukraine scandal hit, and i can tell you and i think every democratic candidate will tell you the same thing, if they are look, trump deserves to be impeached in my opinion, but it has sucked all the oxygen out of the room. The democrats have been screaming to get attention in this impeachment, and now the senate trial is going to begin. So what it has forced us to do, whereas before ukraine hit, we were getting tons of National Attention it has forced us to go local. So we are on local iowa and New Hampshire radio every day, the local newspapers every day, we have got local groups, it is amazing how many everybody has got a podcast. So we have been forced to go underground and really focus hard on iowa and New Hampshire, but primarily iowa. And in this environment we are in, it is our goal to surprise people with a pretty good number in iowa so that people say, wow, there is something going on, on the republican side. Joe so it is all about building momentum, getting those Inflection Points. Iowa is the next big Inflection Point for you, if you get on will rally to the next page. Mr. Walsh absolutely. It is in two and half weeks. This Insurgency Campaign needs almost every republican to wake up the day after iowa and say, son of a gun, joe walsh got x of the vote in iowa. I had no idea. Well, thats interesting. And then when that happens, money comes in, more people reach out. And a week later it is New Hampshire, and you hope that carries over into another surprising number in New Hampshire. Then on the republican side, this is important hampshire, and you hope that po, after New Hampshire, we go dark for a month, because donald trump canceled primaries. Then there is nothing until super tuesday. So our little choochoo engine is trying to really surprised people in iowa and New Hampshire, then build up a lot of momentum for super tuesday. Joe so our industry, advertising and media talks about directtoconsumer marketing. In politics, we attribute a lot of that originally to donald trump because he did do the rallies, went direct to consumers, bypassed traditional media with twitter and facebook, etc. How are you going to you are doing that on the campaign trail now, but how will you do that with the media . If you have been closed out of salem and your radio show, have you thought about creating your own podcast or youtube channel, or something . Obviously, the audience is still there for you. Mr. Walsh yes. And in fact, it is our hope to begin putting out an official Campaign Podcast this next week as we really go into a twoweek push in iowa and speak directly to voters. Part of the deal, too, and this is just running for president , there are these points. If we surprise people in iowa and New Hampshire, this demand, donald trump telling fox news dont put joe walsh on, if we newell in iowa and hampshire, that wall will start to break down a bit and more and more people will have to put me on. It is going to work that way. But yeah, a Campaign Podcast talking directly to the people is something we will launch this next week. Joe a great. Joe great. Lets talk about your messaging. If i go to some of your search ads, the only paid media i could find for you, your Current Campaign on Google Search is we are tired of the lies, we. E tired of the drama but, you know, but your history has a little bit of drama with it, that specifically rhymes with obama. Why should we believe you now in that regard . Mr. Walsh in full disclosure, just so that Everybody Knows me, i voted for trump in 2016. Not because i liked him. He was not hillary. I didnt pay a lot of attention to trump prior to him running for the president. When i voted for him and again, he blocked me on twitter during the campaign, so i was never a big trump fan, but i voted for him and i supported him on the radio. Like a lot of republicans did, because they didnt want hillary. Look, what has been really interesting about this run is, i went to congress in 2010, part of that tea party class. I was pissed off at both parties for bankrupting future generations, and i went there to fight. I was outspoken and loud and often times in that fight and five or six years on the radio, in my fight, i would go over my skis, i would say stupid things and get offensive. This run for office has been almost like a redemption tour. Because i have publicly apologized for the role that i played in helping to put trump in the white house, which is kind of an interesting dynamic. I call myself a reformed outlaw. Trump is an outlaw. I am a reformed outlaw. It was really, joe, watching him in the white house day after day insult and spew out mean, cruel crap at people that really forced me to realize, oh my god, did i sound like that five years ago . Trump has helped me change my tone. But that is part of my message. I cant stand this guy, and i helped put him in the white house. Joe you have a book coming out. Dont know if we can say the title. Mr. Walsh say it. Lucy, can i say it . Joe this is an adult crowd here. Mr. Walsh so i have a book coming out in february called f silence calling trump out for the moronic, authoritarian, conman he is. I wouldnt be doing this unless i thought he was a threat. I believe he is what our founders feared. The point of the book is and i am a conservative, i would rather have a socialist in the white house than a dictator. That is the point of the book. , credible, also great will helpedia that get you the media shows. Mr. Walsh not the first time a candidate has run for president after writing the book. Because it does fit with the mission of the campaign, i think it will lead to an influx of media and attention, which will help. Joe just thinking of all those anchors and interviewers trying to pronounce the title of the book. [laughter] but that is another problem. Mr. Walsh i was on dan rathers podcast a couple of days ago and he wouldnt say it. He said screw silence. [laughter] what else is he going to do . Joe he is editorializing. On messaging, what are the other themes you want to hit on, and why arent you hitting the rnc on their restraint of trade . They are basically blocking the democratic process by not allowing you to participate, not allowing voters to have a chance. Mr. Walsh this morning, i was at Republican Party headquarters. I wanted to have a meeting with the Republican National committee folks, because, it saddens me that the whole country doesnt know this is happening. Because this has never happened before no this isnt putin, this isnt russia. Donald trump has canceled primary elections in 10 states. I mean, that is [expletive] think about that. Millions and millions of voters around the country are not going to be able to vote for president this year i am a lifelong republican. Memberrepublican former of congress. Republican candidate for president. I went to republican headquarters this morning to talk about that and nobody, nobody would meet with me. Look, i know with trump, it is impeachment, it is a scandal every day. This should be one of the biggest issues in the country because it has never been done before. Never been done. The party is doing it because donald trump is telling them to do it. Ugh gaah [laughter] i just i apologize. Look, it is going to be hard enough unless i had bloombergs money it is going to be hard enough to beat him, but when you take 10 states off the table like that, it is wrong. Joe it is ironic given the fact that the party and the administration have talked so much about democrats denying the voters right to be heard, but in this case, they literally are blocking the voters right. Mr. Walsh you talk about messaging. Maybe and i am a conservative but maybe most of my messaging right now, because of what i am doing right now, appeals to independents and democrats. Because i, right now as a republican have no problem saying that my party is not a party anymore. Its a cult. Before trump, as a republican, before before trump, you were defined by where you stood on the issues. Before trump, fox news loved me. Fox news would have me on all the time, why, because joe walsh is an outspoken conservative. We love that kind of [beep] on tv. Along comes trump and it is, i dont care where you are on the issues, i love trump. The party has become a cult to one man. No matter where any of us are politically, everybody in this country should demand and want us to have two really engaged political parties. Joe so the irony in this primary phase is you are not an insurgent because you have been blocked on the inside. You are moving from the outside in. Mr. Walsh that is interesting. Joe i concur. You are generating conversations within the party and a fair amount of positivity, but the traction you are getting is from middleoftheroad or progressive media outlets. We will do a general survey to see how you are tracking conversationally with the mainstream audience as well. Mr. Walsh and dont forget, i had a bit of an advantage before i announced, because i was a nationally syndicated radio guide for five or six years. So republicans and conservatives around the country knew who i was and identified with who i was. But this has been a really weird experience for them, because i was in many ways a leader of their team and now i am running against their team. Joe how much of that conversation do you think is being generated from the fact that they are indignant about the way the Republican Party is treating competition . Mr. Walsh all i can tell you is when we poll Republican Voters in the states where their primaries have been canceled, 70 to 85 of Republican Voters are outraged. What do you mean, i cant vote for president next year . South carolina, minnesota, i mean, all over the country, they have no idea and when they find out about it, they get angry. Joe have you thought about any like aind of recourse, Petition Campaign . It worked for tom steyer. Why wouldnt you generate a Petition Campaign and throw in weld. Ill mr. Walsh here is a problem, the state parties in each state can do whatever they want. The States Parties in each state decide what the rules of their elections are going to be. The South Carolina state party all by themselves can say, nope if they get a call from donald trump, no, we will not have a primary. The primaries are run by state private organizations. So you can sue, and there have been lawsuits in some states, unsuccessful to date. Joe what if you started a grassroots petition in each state to appeal to their parties . Mr. Walsh that is the only other recourse we have, and a petition would be an interesting way to do it. The only other recourse we have is to generate a boatload of anger among republicans in these states. Absolutely. Joe well, it seems like there is some anger going on there, but the question is, how do you activate it . Mr. Walsh well, have 100,000 republicans in South Carolina tell their state party, youve got one week to change this. What do you mean i can is some anger going on there, but the question is, how do you i cant vote for president . That kind of thing. Joe can you be written in in any way . Mr. Walsh minnesota [exclaims] here we go again. In minnesota, the chairperson said, there is no primary. They eliminated any room for a ritein candidate. Even states eliminated iteinor a wr candidate. Joe i know that we have an audience interested in asking questions of you. Raise your hand if you would like to speak up. I have a hand back here. I have heard President Trump joke about canceling term limits and possibly being president for life. With this cult mentality the Republican Party has, do you see that as a possibility . Mr. Walsh that is a great question. No, because i think the rest of us would rise up and pick him up and throw him out of the white house. But yes in that i believe in his screwedup head, he thinks about it. And from a messaging perspective, i think right now we have a lot of chicken [beep]s in the Republican Party who a lotto light former a lot of colleagues in the house and senate, they think trump is going to lose in november, they want him to lose in november, you know a guy like mitt romney wants trump to lose. Of course he does. He doesnt have the courage to say that. Rubio, too, little marco. [laughter] he pisses me off. All these republicans who dont have the balls to say what they think. They all think that when trump loses, he will just go away and the Republican Party can go back to what it was before trump no. Donald trump aint going away unless he is in jail. He is not going away. He will grab sean hannity, lou dobbs, he will grab his billion followers and he will try to screw things up for republicans for a long, long time. So even if he doesnt try to stay in the white house and by the way, if he loses in november, he can run again in 2024. Who knows what he is going to do . That is why you have got to confront him now. Your campaign has some similarities to bernie in 2016, and insurgency against establishment candidates. Bernie was able to show signs of life through grassroots fundraising. People who were supporting him, who did not have to worry about the wrath of a party leadership. Who could contribute to you and there was no ramifications, unlike all the pundits in the media who seem to be supporting trump. What are you seeing those sorts of signs of life through those various directtoconsumer channels, that could start funding your campaign, that can register this 10 sentiment . Tell us where you are seeing some of that. Mr. Walsh the problem is we talk about communications, major republican donors will not give me money because they fear trump. Conservative media wont have me on because they fear trump. State leaders are canceling parties because they fear trump. We knew the only path was to do a lot of down here, a lot of grassroots stuff, and catch some magic and go viral. Again, Ala Buttigieg and bernie in 2016. We have done that to a degree. Guys, i havent had any money, we havent had any money, so the fact that we are being talked about is amazing. But we need a lot more of that. I think the difference is bernie was not up against a sitting a cultliketh following. It is profound. On the assumption you will be the candidate , i wouldn november like to ask you position on some of the issues. On your website and in your talk show, you talked about how you are a fiscal conservative, you are for free trade, for the second amendment, how do you feel about the First Amendment and what policies would you put in place for the Media Industry . Mr. Walsh look, i think [laughing] i actually think the most damaging thing donald trump has done is his attack on First Amendment, his attack on speech, is his attack on the media. I saw some republican u. S. Senator today who was asked a question about impeachment and out and said, get out of here you liberal hack. This kind of thing is happening more and more because we have a president who has repeatedly called the media the enemy of the people. It is frightening what he think about it he is the president of the united states. From his twitter feed, he can tweet something out attacking the media, attacking private industry, boosting up private companies, attacking individuals. It is really scary what hes doing to free speech and the free press. Joe do you have any views on Campaign Finance reform . Obviously, you are an underdog right now . Mr. Walsh i do. I do. My reform will probably not be liked by everybody in the room. I am not michael bloomberg, i am not a wealthy guy. So for me to raise money, i have to raise it 1000 or 2000 at a time. That is really really hard. So you spend a lot of time trying to raise money. The problem is, really wealthy guys with their own money can come in and not worry about those limits. So my Campaign Finance reform would be to get rid of all the limits now. Full and instant disclosure. So, joe, this growing relationship here, if you really like me and want to write me a check for 100,000, i believe you should be able to, but it should instantly be disclosed. Everybody in this room should know that joe gave joe 100,000. And if you are angry that joe gave joe 100,000, then take it out on me and dont vote for me. But every time we place limits on how much i could raise, your politicians who are not wealthy spend all their time raising money. Joe so transparency. Mr. Walsh total transparency. Joe this is not really a Campaign Issue per se but it is very topical this week. Do you think a woman could be president . Mr. Walsh i think a woman should be president. I think it is bizarre that we have not elected a female president yet. Joe anymore questions from the audience . Mr. Walsh i would love that. Joe if we could get a microphone to this gentleman. Hi, dave from not ordinary media. I still cannot figure out why the republican rankandfile has never really gotten upset, as far as i can tell anyway, about trumps seeming affinity for russia and putin. I mean, when i grew up in the 80s during the cold war, they were the bad guys. No two ways about it. The Republican Party was very hawkish on that. It seems like it is a nonissue. It totally baffles me from a communications standpoint. I dont understand why. Mr. Walsh that. And there are 100 examples of that, of things that trump does that if obama had done, the running through walls. So here is what Everybody Needs to understand, and i guess i understand it because i come from that world. The same people who voted for trump voted for me. The same people who voted for trump have listened to me on the radio. Here is the deal. Donald trump is an absolute punch in the face retribution for his supporters. They dont care what he does. I am not exaggerating when i say and this should bother all of us no matter where we are politically he lies almost every time he opens his mouth. It doesnt bother his hardcore supporters. They were so angry about the way they perceived the media was treating him. Again, look, i am in this world. This has been my world forever. Generally, people in the media lean left, people in academia lean left. People in most of our institutions lean left, and Trump Supporters had been thinking these people have been looking down on us. And along comes a demagogue who says, i will take care of you. It is not your fault you are unemployed, it is the other guys fault, it is the brown guys fault, it is cnns fault. I got your back. He comes in and he gets elected and he just punches cnn in the face every day. So they dont care what he does from a policy perspective. If donald trump raised taxes tomorrow, they would cheer. If donald trump declared war on iran tomorrow, they would cheer. He is payback for them. I think it is really sad. It is wrong, but i want you to understand where most of his supporters are coming from. Joe knowing that, doesnt that indicate thats a real messaging, going back to traditional advertising, that is a real messaging problem for you. This is not an argument anymore. This is something else. We are working at another level, a subtler level where your argument you already agree there are many people in the Republican Party who agree with you but they will not act on it. So is there really an argument here or is this something running much deeper, something that has much more to do with identity and other issues . I wonder, how do you counter argue that . Mr. Walsh for a year, this is what i thought about trump for a year. For our year, i publicly encouraged some republican better than me mitt romney, john kasich, some republican to get in and challenge trump because i know you know he is unfit. Nobody got in, so i got in. Mitt romney could not beat trump in the primary. Conservative republicans hate romney and kasich. Weirdly, a moderate or a more establishment republican would have been destroyed in the primary. Nobody got in, so i got in. Mitt romney could not beat trump the path we tried to take was i am a conservative. I mean, i am a real conservative, which is where most of his supporters are when you talk to them about issues. You just will not get all the crap, the cruelty and the chaos if you vote for somebody like me. That is the path we have tried to carve, knowing that it is difficult, because as my friend over here said, support for trump really is not issuesbased. He is just their demagogue who is going to punch who they think is the bad guy. You cannot argue with resentment. You cant counter argue resentment. Mr. Walsh not at all. Not at all. And as you said, it is going to be with us for a long time. Mr. Walsh and we need to figure this out. Because its going to be with us. I think you mentioned before, this fantasy that somehow even if he is not elected, this is a potent and important Political Force we have to deal with, and to go back to branding rhetoric, we need to find a counterargument or a way of arguing this in a whole different way. Mr. Walsh yeah, look. Many of you may think i am nuts for doing this. A lot of my family thinks i am nuts that i did this. I wouldnt have done this unless i thought i could win. But lets be real, i also did it because this is not my Republican Party. I dont like what this guy has done to the issues i believe in, i dont like how this guy is treating half the country. So part of why i did this was to let people out there know that there still are good, decent republicans who believe in freedom, limited government, opportunity, we are not all cruel, bigots, and liars. Thank you for drawing attention. One last question i just wanted to ask you. But even by 2016 and 2017, you were pretty still outspoken protrump. At that point, it was very clear. He was president. It was very clear what he was. I am just trying to understand where that shift happened for you. Also, my last question is, looking back in retrospect, would you still have voted for trump or would you have voted for hillary . Mr. Walsh oh my god. This is not going to get me any votes in the republican primary. [laughter] thanks a lot. There is no way in hell i would have voted for trump. I will leave that at that. Heres what i did with trump and i have apologized. I have been on my knees when he got i did not Pay Attention much to donald trump before the 2016 election. I am older than a lot in this room, i didnt even know what his reality show was. I always figured he was just a goof. I figured if donald trump wins, he is a goof, he is a blowhard, maybe he will appoint a few good people and maybe a few good things will happen. Then went trump won, i did the whole goodtrump, badtrump thing. I patted him on the head when i thought he did something good. I would kick him in the [e xpletive] when i thought he did something bad. Over the next weeks and months, it became clear to me that i dont like this guy and i dont like what he is doing. Two things finally moved him officially and publicly off him, and remember, this is important, at the time, i was a conservative talk radio guy. 95 of my audience are the red hat, magawearing folks. So it was difficult to do what i over time, i realized pretty quickly that almost every time he opens his mouth, he tells a lie. I cant have that in the president. The final straw for me, when i publicly said i would never say another good word about him was helsinki, 2018, when he stood in front of the world and said i believe putin and not my own people. I went on the radio that night and said, he is a traitor. That is an act of disloyalty. My audience pretty much gave up on me. But that was the final straw for me. Joe ok. So if i could ask, one concluding question, the Republican Convention comes and goes next summer, you dont get the nomination, what happens then . Is there a path for you in the general election . Mr. Walsh if i dont become the republican nominee . Joe correct. Mr. Walsh i am asked this every day, why dont you run as an independent . There are a lot of intriguing, communication aspects of running as an independent. In my head and in my heart, i have pledged to myself that i am willing to fall on any sword in the world. All i want to do is stop this man. So if i dont get the republican nomination, i will do whatever i can beyond that to make sure he does not get reelected, whether that is an independent run, whether that is whatever. I believe and i will close with this you guys have been great, probably way too much politics, you would talk rather talk other stuff. I really believe this is one of those unique moments in history. Where we all got to stand up. I mean it. In your neighborhoods, in your professions, in your little communities, this is one of those weird, unique moments in American History where you all have to step up and do what you believe in. That is what i have dedicated my year to. Thank you. You guys have been great.
