The Chairman of Ikom Local Government Council in Cross River State, Hon Kingsley Egumi has disclosed how he manages Fulani Herdsmen around his homestead without clashes, killings and destruction of farmlands.
Speaking with DAILY POST on Saturday via phone, Hon Egumi lamented the crisis between the Fulani Herdsmen and farmers in the country and appealed to the Federal Government to come to the aid of victims and prosecute criminals among Fulani Herders.
“I don’t have any issues with Fulani Herdsmen or crisis in my community or local government area (Ikom) except communal crisis where communities attack themselves to the point of killing and destruction of personal properties
