It's understood the CRL Rights Commission will probe the murder of a mentally ill woman who died after a mob attack in Soweto.
Jostina Sangweni, 59, was beaten and died in hospital.
Her daughter said she was diagnosed with schizophrenia last month.
An independent body has stepped in to investigate the circumstances of the murder of a mentally ill woman in Soweto.
Jostina Sangweni, 59, was attacked last week after she was accused of witchcraft. She was in a critical condition when she was found after the attack and was taken to hospital, where she died.
