GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) - Goose Creek city officials say roadwork is expected to begin this week in an area that sees the highest number of crashes in the city. Mayor Greg Habib says median improvements could begin as early as Wednesday on St. James Avenue also known as Highway 176.
The Goose Creek Police Department says there were 432 crashes on St. James Avenue last year.
