People living in the Counties Manukau District Health Board area who are over 65 and have existing health conditions will be among the next priority group for the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out, the Government has announced.
People over the age of 65 and those with underlying health conditions who live in south Auckland will be prioritised for the Covid-19 vaccine, getting their first jabs later this month.
On Wednesday, Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins revealed the long-awaited schedule for the Pfizer vaccine roll-out, splitting the country into four key groups.
After border and MIQ workers and their families – due to be completed by the end of March – frontline health workers and priority groups living in the Counties Manukau DHB area will be next, Hipkins announced.
