Council backs $2M in special tax levies to expedite The Bridge hub | Cornwall Standard-Freeholder

Ahead of a visit to Belleville Friday by Premier Doug Ford, city council voted in operating budget talks Tuesday to back one per cent special tax levies over two years for homeowners to raise $2 million for The Bridge hub to counter a worsening tainted drug crisis in the city.
