The pandemic has prompted a segment of the knowledge-based workforce to relocate from living in or near large cities to more distant, smaller ones like Cornwall.
During the late 1990s, the idea of telecommuting employment briefly circulated in Cornwall and gained little attention. The concept was briefly revived some 20-years later and again went nowhere. On the third occasion, the pandemic lockdown made it happen.
