Corey Webster says the struggling Breakers must take a collective look in the mirror as they search for improvements.
Just what the Breakers didn’t need. With all their problems, and the pressure swirling early, up next are perennial powerhouse the Perth Wildcats. Not once, but twice. And coming off a rare home defeat.
At 0-2, with back-to-back road defeats to the Adelaide 36ers, the Breakers find themselves wedged into an early tight spot in this uncertain Australian NBL season doing its best to fit in around interstate Covid travel restrictions.
They now stare down the barrel of 0-4, with games against the defending champion Wildcats at their intimidating RAC Arena on Sunday (tipoff 7pm NZT) and again next Friday. Bad will become worse if they are not very, very careful.
