The officer hopped on the motorcycle to reach an agriculture field lying in a remote area.
Collector M. Govinda Rao on Thursday undertook a three-kilometre motorcycle ride to reach an agriculture field at Cholapuram West hamlet in Orathanadu taluk to inspect crop damage reported by a farmer.
According to official sources, the Collector who was inspecting the assessment of crop loss due to the inclement weather conditions during last month visited the Agriculture Extension Centre at Orathanadu where uploading of crop loss claims was being carried out.
