Coach Jon Cooper is confident the Lightning will meet the challenge of not having Vasilevskiy

Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper made it clear that the Lightning will be without a “luxury” with Russian goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy expected to miss the first two months of the NHL season after undergoing back surgery. “Let’s be honest, we sit here and try and make the situation a little more rosy,” Cooper said Friday. Vasy is a big part of our team, but we do have other guys in the organization.
