Noida: A recent change on Co-WIN, where the portal has merged all sessions at vaccination centres, has led to confusion among vaccine recipients in the past two days.
While earlier there were various sessions available for three different age groups — 18-44, 45-59 and 60-plus — the portal now shows just one category for all recipients who are over 18 years of age. This is leading to confusion, especially among those in the 45+ or 60+ categories who booked their first dose but can’t find their group on the portal now. Officials said that this is also the reason for fewer government centres being displayed on the portal now. “While there were various centres under the district hospital earlier, there is only one centre showing now. Everyone can book a slot in the 18+ category.
