Joseph Girard III had hdis choice of several power programs when the high-scoring guard chose to leave Syracuse this offseason. He always liked what he saw from Clemson as an Orange opponent and like the way the team was trending the past couple of years under coach Brad Brownell. Girard believes he can help bring the Tigers back to the NCAA Tournament. Clemson is coming off a 23-win season, including a program-best 14 ACC victories. Girard brings his 16.4 -point a game average to a team with two other double-digit returnees in forward PJ Hall and guard Chase Hunter.
