City plans roundabout near Waukee Middle School. Construction could start next month; pedestrian safety touted.

The City of Waukee plans to start construction on a roundabout at the intersection of South Warrior Lane, Northview Drive and Ashworth Drive this spring, possibly as early as March.
The city of Waukee will start construction this spring on a roundabout near Waukee Middle School, a change that the city says will be safer for pedestrians, including schoolchildren.
It's one of several roundabouts planned in the city, including three near the new Northwest High School.
