CITES to review trade in wild, captive-bred animals

Geneva, June 16: In the early years of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) (1975-1989), a staggering 96 per cent of internationally traded animals were taken from the wild.
