Former ad exec Cindy Gallop is used to selling ideas, but her latest project – sex tech start-up Make Love Not Porn – is the most challenging yet.
Cindy Gallop is sitting on a sofa in her Manhattan apartment when she takes this video call. On a recent Wednesday afternoon she is looking happy and relaxed, angelically backlit from light streaming in from tall windows, over 30 storeys up, with views over and through the New York skyline.
The former advertising executive, now consultant and entrepreneur, has spent a year in “full lockdown” here in “The Sky Apartment” as she calls it – following state law and her own “super cautious” approach.
