Robert Hesse overcame drug addiction, incarceration and being hundreds of pounds overweight to achieve star-dome as a chef on Hell's Kitchen, and now he returns home to St. Pete Beach to open up his own restaurant Fo' Cheezy Twisted Meltz.

ST PETE BEACH, Fla. — Robert Hesse credits food for saving his life. It’s an interesting perspective, considering he once weighed 655 pounds.
Hesse was one of the chefs on Hell’s Kitchen back in seasons five and six. Losing the weight and dealing with Gordon Ramsay were just a few of his many hurdles.
