In a devastating move for Carolina hockey fans, the Hurricanes announced on Wednesday (December 23) that the outdoor game scheduled for next year at Carter-Finley Stadium has been postponed indefinitely. The game, set for February 20, 2021, was originally announced in February 2020 before the full impact of the pandemic hit the country.
Raleigh was set to host the NHL's 32nd regular-season outdoor game as part of the league's 12th NHL Stadium Series game. Hurricanes owner
