PETERBOROUGH, ON, April 9, 2021 /CNW/ - Canadians everywhere are feeling the impact of COVID-19, on their families, their livelihoods and their way of life. Today, the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Federal Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Rural Economic Development, and Member of Parliament for Peterborough—Kawartha, on behalf of the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities; Dave Smith, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy, Northern Development and Mines and Indigenous Affairs, and Member of Provincial Parliament for Peterborough—Kawartha, on behalf of the Honourable Laurie Scott, Ontario's Minister of Infrastructure; David Piccini, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Colleges and Universities, and Member of Provincial Parliament for Northumberland-Peterborough South; and Steve Kylie and John Martyn, Board Chair and Vice Chair, from The Mount Community Centre, announced joint funding for four community and recreational infrastructure projects in Peterborough County.
