A PAIR of campers found themselves in the hands of a mountain rescue team after losing their way.
The couple had camped close to the summit of Grisedale Pike, but they found themselves trapped and unable to find the path.
Not knowing which direction to go the pair were forced to call for help.
Keswick Mountain Rescue team were alerted on December 8 just before 12pm and scrambled to the location.
The rescue team deployed two vehicles and volunteers on foot to trace the stranded couple.
When the campers had been located the rescue team members managed to harness and helmet the pair to the team and help them to safety.
