CAL FIRE considering using fire retardant to prevent future fires
Multiple fires have sparked up in Northern California but CAL FIRE is considering using fire retardant to prevent future fires from starting.

CHICO, Calif. - Multiple fires have already sparked up and caused evacuations across Northern California.
"California is just one big fire now, it's really terrible,” said Chico resident Latief Dewes.
To fight back against fires and prevent future fires from occurring, fire departments are looking at fire retardants as a solution.
"PG&E sprays a fire retardant on their wooden utility poles ahead of a fire such as the Salt Fire,” said PG&E spokesman Paul Moreno.
