Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to be the ideal ambassador for the game.
Giannis was supposed to celebrate their NBA title win in his home country of Greece on Tuesday. But a massive fire engulfed a large part of the area several miles away from his old neighborhood of Sepolia. He was supposed to bring there the NBA trophy but decided to cancel it to show respect.
The 26-year-old Giannis took to Twitter, saying he hopes there were no lives lost in the fire.
According to local reports, dozens of fires have broken out in Greece in just one day due to the terrible heat (via Greek City Times).
