Now, for the uncertain news.
The county wants to open a site planned at the St. Luke's Quakertown Campus, and a sixth site soon in Central or Lower Bucks to offer at least 15,000 vaccinations a week. The county also wants to meet Gov. Wolf's ambitious plan of scheduling all 1A vaccine appointments by March 28.
But without enough vaccine or a predictable flow, it simply cannot, county leaders said Monday.
"Like the governor, we share the frustrations of residents who have waited many weeks in vain for a vaccination appointment," Bucks County commissioners said in a statement. "But just scheduling a date does not assure when the vaccine will be there for them."
