Britain's north-south divide: South to bask in sunny spells and highs of 14C as the north braces for more flooding and travel chaos as up to TWO inches of rain set to fall in just days

Parts of southern England are set to bask in sunny spells with highs of 14C but it will be decidedly different in the north where a sober Met Office forecast has warned there could be up to 2 inches of rainfall.
