The Brexit mix up has led to a runner bean frame donation to the Island not-for-profit garden centre.
A Brexit mix up has led to the donation of a piece of garden furniture to the Isle of Wight's not-for-profit garden centre, Care In The Garden.
Gunville resident Bill Moore had planned to buy a runner bean frame for the centre on Park Road, near the Racecourse roundabout.
Based at Palmers Brook Community Nursery, Care In The Garden supports Islanders with Down's Syndrome and learning difficulties.
When he tried to make a purchase from Harrod Horticultural, Mr Moore got an email telling him the firm was unable to export goods to the Isle of Wight because shipments outside the UK mainland were suspended, due to the new Brexit rules.
