On Nov. 1, Israelis will head to the polls for an unprecedented fifth election in three years. The outgoing ruling coalition, headed by Prime Minister Yair Lapid and his former coalition partner Naftali Bennet, will be looking to stave off a comeback by former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu, who appears to have the wind at his back, has re-emerged as a source of unity and strength for the Israeli right, including previously shunned extremist elements.
