A Pennsylvania boxing promoter who pled guilty to his role in a Ponzi scheme involving an ex-reality TV star after failing to appear at his trial requested a five-year prison sentence Tuesday, saying his erratic behavior was a result of a painkiller addiction he developed after his father's death.
