Tara Ray came home.
A wretched spell of rain had led to many of the arterial roads getting waterlogged, and the cab driver, a 20-something youngster who had his ears glued to his mobile phone, clearly had no regard for any traffic rules. He zipped along the rain-slicked streets at a manic speed, squelched through muddy alleys, splattered water on other motorists and bicycles at whim, and raced through every red light.
