Bangladesh Health Watch (BHW) has appreciated the initiative of the government to simplify the nation-wide vaccination campaign which will be launched from August 7.
In a press release BHW said the initiative is a timely and bold step.
According to the latest plan, registration for the vaccination through the Shurokkha app will not be mandatory. Instead, people now can register at the vaccination sites with their NIDs, or in case of those who don’t have an NID yet, through on the spot registration.
In a statement, BHW said it is closely monitoring the Covid situation in the country and would like to offer its all-out assistance and support to all sectors of the society in combating this huge threat to the survival and well-being.
