India's Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has inaugurated the Command and Control Center of Bharat NCAP in Pune. The center will administer star ratings for cars tested under the BNCAP Vehicle Safety Regime. The test protocol will assess cars on child occupant protection, adult occupant protection, and safety assist technologies.
