Authorities expect an autopsy that was planned for Monday afternoon will help them wrap up an investigation in the killing of a man in a South Heidelberg Township home Sunday night.
No one has been arrested, but investigators have a fairly clear picture of what happened and they're waiting for a forensic pathologist to confirm it so they can proceed accordingly, Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams and South Heidelberg police Chief Leon Grim said about noon Monday.
"Once we determine more specifically the cause of death, which we hope to do as a result of the autopsy this evening, that will basically answer a few questions and we'll take whatever steps are necessary," Adams said.
