Belle Center man pulled from icy Indian Lake on Tuesday
COLUMBUS — A 69-year-old man was rescued from Indian Lake State Park in Logan County on Tuesday, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources acknowledged Wednesday.
First-responders from ODNR, Lake EMS Joint Ambulance District and Lakeview EMS were called to the lake around 4 p.m. Tuesday following reports that an elderly man had fallen into the icy waters of Indian Lake. Rescue teams used an airboat to pull Edward O’Connor, 79, of Belle Center, from the water.
He was flown to a Columbus hospital. His condition is not being released at this time.
