Police in the uk have arrested a fourth person following the discovery of 39 bodies in a lorry east of london on wednesday. A bbc investigation has discovered several of those who died could be vietnamese. One Family Member has described receiving distressing Text Messages apparently sent from the back of the truck. Ed thomas has this report. This is pham tra my, 26, from vietnam. Tonight, she is missing, and her family fears she was one of the 39 people to lose their life in the refrigerated container found in essex. At the exact time the container was crossing from zeebrugge, she sent this disturbing message. Im really sorry, mum and dad. My trip to a foreign land has failed. I am dying, i cant breathe. I love you very much. Her brother wanted to broadcast this appeal on the bbc. My sister went missing on the 23rd of october on the way the bbc has also spoken to the family of nguyen dinh luong, a 20 year old man also missing tonight. The Vietnamese Embassy in london is now working with uk authorities to identify any victims suspected of being from vietnam. Today, this investigation moved to cheshire. Police arrested a 38 year old man and a 38 year old woman from warrington on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and manslaughter. In essex, detectives are continuing to question the 25 year old lorry driver, named locally in Northern Ireland as mo robinson from county armagh. While the delicate process of private ambulances under Police Escort remove all 39 bodies from the refrigerated container, postmortems will be carried out one by one, as police try and find out who they were and how they died. What is this noise . The fridge working. The fridge working . Yes. Thats the sound of the fridge . Yes, i show you. Wojciech has been transporting refrigerated lorries for two years. It goes 20,21. Temperatures can get as low as minus 25. Whats inside it . I dont know. You dont know whats inside . I dont know. Sealed here, and i cant open this and check. He is not allowed to break the seal but, every move he makes, he is followed by a gps tracker. Because its expensive and they show where i am. The trailer has this . Where is this trailer. And weve learnt more about the gps movements of the refrigerated container found in essex. Sources say tracking gps data shows the container left monaghan in ireland on october the 15th, then made trips to dublin and wales before crossing from dover to calais on the evening of october the 16th. On mainland europe, it appears the container travelled between belgium and france, visiting dunkirk, bruges and lille, before making its finaljourney from zeebrugge to purfleet. Around half an hour later, it had been picked up by a lorry and all 39 bodies discovered inside. For three years, there have been security concerns over purfleet, warnings that smuggling gangs were targeting the port. They are dishevelled. Some of them have got phones and theyre smart. Janet has lived opposite for more than 35 years. What is the largest number of people youve seen come off a container . Probably about 30. Two dozen at least. People coming off the trailer . This is now an International Investigation as Police Search for the truth and answers for all 39 victims. Ed thomas, bbc news, tilbury docks. Human Rights Groups say 21 people have been killed and many more injured in iraq, after Security Forces used live rounds and tear gas against Anti Government protestors. The unrest is nationwide with mass rallies in the capital baghdad, and the southern cities of nasiriya, diwaniyah, amara and basra. Of nasiriya, diwaniyah, protestors are calling it a second wave of demonstrations against corruption and unemployment. Clashes earlier this month left more than 150 people dead. A government report has acknowledged that the authorities used excessive force. Belkis wille is senior iraq researcher at human rights watch. I asked her if the protests are intensifying. We had a very intense period of protests come with the first nine days of the month from october 1 9 and as you said during those days we had an extremely large death toll. 149 of those killed were civilians who were protesting. Then things calm down, there was a quiet period but during that time political opponents of the government had been calling on people to take back to the streets today because they said that all of the protesters demands had yet to be met by the government. Basic demands against corruption and for the most basic Services Like access to electricity, to water, to jobs. That said, the Prime Minister has promised a package of reforms including a Cabinet Reshuffle and also of the reforms to try and to be the protesters demands. They seem to remain unconvinced by that, why do you think that is . Unfortunately historically since 2003 they have over and over again had governments have made promises to the public that daily life will improve, that services will be consistent and people will have access to jobs and u nfortu nately people will have access to jobs and unfortunately until now none of these governments have lived up to these governments have lived up to these promises unfortunately for one main reason which is the corruption is so endemic within the iraqi system. And even though they are one of the richest countries in the world some of that filters to the people so unfortunately this time around they simply dont believe that this government is any more committed to those reforms than previous governments. It sounds like what you are saying or suggesting is that the only thing that will placate the demonstrators is a com plete placate the demonstrators is a complete overhaul of the current political class. And thats absolutely what many protesters are calling for. They say nothing short of that will give them any conviction that things are going to change. Of course the government side the response is including from the Prime Minister in a speech he gave last night but it does not want to step down because he worries that stepping down and having the cabinet resigned will mean basically opening up resigned will mean basically opening upa resigned will mean basically opening up a vacuum resigned will mean basically opening up a vacuum in which we dont know what could happen and would destabilise the country, but protesters are continuing enduring to continue to go to the streets and i think the death toll which we saw not only in the beginning of october, but now today alone we are hearing as you said 21 protesters have been killed. Thats going to continue to anger people on the streets and continue to get them out demanding their rights. Lets take a look at some of the other stories making the news. Protests in lebanon have now reached their ninth day. Demonstrators cut off major roads, pledging to keep pa ralysing the country. Thats despite an offer by the president to meet their representatives. The protestors are demanding the removal of the entire political class, accusing it of systematic corruption. The Russian Defence Ministry Says eight soldiers were killed and two wounded when a fellow serviceman opened fire at a military base in southern siberia. This happened during a change of guard at a repair facility near the city of chita. More than 40,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in california to escape a fast moving wildfire. The fires are being driven by powerful winds, which are expected to worsen in Southern California over the weekend. European Union Leaders have agreed to delay brexit after it became clear the uk government wont be able to keep its promise to leave at end of the month. The eu hasnt, though, set a new date Prime Minister Boris Johnsons latest tactic is to call for a general election and has told opposition Leaderjeremy Corbyn to man up and support him. There is some flash photography in this report from our deputy political editorjohn pienaar. It looked easy enough. I cant make the scissors work. Cant make the scissors work, cant get an early election either. You run the world. I do. No, no, idont. Run the world . As if he needs labour votes to make a quick election happen, and Jeremy Corbyns holding back, so. We can have more debates on brexit, if thats what he really wants, but theyve got to agree a deadline. Time for corbyn man up, lets have an election on december the 12th. He is campaigning as if the elections started. Downing street even suggested the government would just ask again he is campaigning as if the elections started. Downing street even suggested the government would just ask again and again for an election if mps said no, virtually go on strike from doing anything else. Really . Isnt that an irresponsible way to go about things . I think you are totally confused here. We are going to be governing in the interests of the country. So maybe no government strike after all. Hello again, welcome back. But what will labour do . The partys split, and Jeremy Corbyns in no hurry to give the pm the quick election he wants. For now, hes saying no election until there is no chance at all of leaving with no deal. I hope the eu grants an extension. My position is weve got to get no deal taken off the table first, because it would be catastrophic forjobs and businesses. For brexit, as one door opens, another is closed. Have a good day. No comment. It was a very good discussion. Brussels chief negotiator was meeting eu ambassadors and keeping the uk guessing. While mps wait to see what kind of extensions offered, the eu is waiting to see what westminster decides. Westminster already seems paralysed. If an elections blocked next week, politics could be reduced to a game of who blinks first. An early contest seems inevitable, but who will yield . The snp want to seem more up for the fight than the others. The lib dems want a contest, too, but if brexit is approved first, how can they campaign as the party to stop brexit . We need to have the extension secured and implemented before we can consider a general election so that borisjohnson does not use the Time Available to take the country out on no deal. What i want is the opposition parties to come together with a vote of no confidence and bring this government down to move to a quick election. How long has he got to stay . Hopefully, we can have him out at the end of next week. Out by next week the young boy, that is, not the uk. The pm can wish and wait. John pienaar, bbc news, westminster. Stay with us on bbc world news, still to come a special report on the rise of surveillance apps on mobile phones womens Charities Say theyre concerned. This is bbc world news today. The latest headlines. At least six of the 39 people found dead in a truck in the uk may have been from vietnam. Police have announced a fourth arrest in the case. A new wave of protests in iraq has left at least 21 people dead. Womens charities are concerned by new research that shows a rise in the use of so called stalkerware apps. The Surveillance Software allows someone complete access to a victims phone showing private messages, gps locations and even giving someone the ability to see and hear through cameras and microphones. Russia is the region where stalkerware activity is peaking the most. And india, brazil, the us and germany make up the top 5. Our Cyber Security reporter joe tidy has more. Stalkerware or spouseware is powerful surveillence software used to spy on a partner. Once downloaded, it allows someone to see and hear everything a person is doing on or near their phone or computer. Youre going to use this phone. According to cybersecurity reseachers, stalkerware is a growing problem, particularly for vulnerable women. Ive downloaded the software and recruited my colleague joanne to test it. Youre going to use this phone. This is effectively the, well call it the perpetrators phone. 0k. Im the perp. And youre the perp. Youve got access to everything i do on this phone. Well call this phone, the victims phone. So if you look at that phone there, thats your dashboard. So you are all set to effectively spy on me for the next, is it two days . Joe on phone im looking for one whiteboard marker, whiteboard pen, just a black one. Joe is buying a whiteboard marker. And i can hear it. Can you hear it . Joe have you got a black one . That is so bizarre i can seejoe picking up a bike. I can also flip between the front camera and the back camera, on joes phone. This is quite creepy. I can see wherejoes moving, it is notjust updating every so often. It is a live image. Its just gone ten oclock at night. So i want to try and see his screen. I think it might be candy crush again i cantjust see what hes up to right now, but i can see what hes been doing over the course of the past few hours. There are alerts at the top of the screen for Text Messages, for social media. So there seems to be a record function where i can go back through all the calls thatjoes made and listen to them. Joe im an idiot. I havent got an excuse. I am tired, distracted. So its fair to say you learned a lot about me through spying. Can i have that back . Yes, you can tell me. The amazing thing was for me, obviously i knew that you were filming me or listening in or reading my messages, but i had no idea when. Nothing happened the screen stay blank unless i was playing with it. No notifications, no battery use. But this data was being sent to you all the time. Victims like amy, not her real name, say stalkerware is being used as a tool for domestic abuse. There were just Little Things that were dropped in the conversation that never felt right. He knew details about my friends. I began to wonder how he knew where i was all the time. This is the moment amy found out the truth, by accident. I saw an alert, an email alert that said daily report on my mac. And ijust had this chill go through me. My. I stopped breathing for a minute. Concerned about stalker where i want to protect yourself. Have a look at oui to protect yourself. Have a look at our website theres advice in the article including things like not living or a device unattended, and adding security or antivirus softwa re adding security or Antivirus Software to your phone. I will twitch that link for you but theres a full article there with advice and for the links if you want more information. The Mueller Report on claims of links between the Trump Campaign and russia is at the centre of a new battle this hour. Democrats in congress have won their battle to see the full un redacted copy of the investigation. It comes as Thejustice Department launches a criminal probe into the origins of the mueller inquiry. Joining me now from washington is our north america correspondent, chris buckler. How significant is this ruling by thejudge on the how significant is this ruling by the judge on the full unredacted copy . I think it is pretty significant. You might remember that democrats have long wa nted remember that democrats have long wanted to see the full report. Some details were rejected inside of it and there have notjust been given the right to see those rejected bits of the report but also been given the right to see underlying evidence and essentially think that were presented to the grand jury. And he is one of the lines that was said in terms of this ruling from the federaljudge. She said in her ruling that tipping the scale even further towards disclosure is the Public Interest in a diligent and thorough investigation into and a final determination about potentially impeachable conduct by the president described in the marlowe report. Seabiscuit was she saying there is partly its because of what the democrats are doing inside congress, in their impeachment inquiries. This is going to give them more evidence to decide whether or not the president has committed any impeachable offences and as you can imagine theres likely to be an appeal from the department ofjustice in this. Given into the middle of next week to handle these documents but i would not be surprised to see an appeal. And this comes shortly after we discovered to the mother investigation itself is being investigated on a criminal basis, and what crime do they think was committed . Yeah, theres lots going on. There was a review that took place into the mother investigation into the report. In that review was being conducted at the request of the attorney general. We are told that review has turned effectively into if criminal inquiry that has taken place. However, recently do not know what crimes are being investigated. The department of justice wont say anything in the white house has indicated that this is to look at to 2016 the president ial election was taking place whether there was any improper interference by the department of justice then or by the fbi. And try to ensure that there is no wrongdoing at that stage under what was then Barack Obamas administration. Democrats are very forcibly saying that as far as theyre concerned this is simply political interference and they say they have not seen anything that justifies a criminal investigation into the imola report. It seems they will have a lot more evidence to look at as far as this is concerned. Many thanks indeed. Theres a huge weekend of rugby ahead with the world cup semi finals. The first match is saturday morning between defending champions new zeland and england. Preparations injapan have been dampened slightly today by the weather. This is what they had to put up with in yokohama ahead of their semi tomorrow. The weather is supposed to improve by the time they kick off at nine oclock local time. New zealand havent lost a game at the world cup since 2007. So how do you beat the all blacks . England head coach eddiejones says its all about mentality. You have to learn from experience. There is a great photo of the guy hanging off the cliff. He said, my skills are scripted the only thing that can stop me as my mind. Its so true in big games. It is how you focus at that particular moment. The all blacks are favourites to reach the final and have been so dominant in the past decade winning the last two world cups. And during that time, their win percentage has been 87 , an incredible statistic but despite the dominance, their assistant coach ian foster says they do still feel the pressure. You learn very quickly in this business that the next one is always the biggest one you have ever had. That is what it feels like. Its a lwa ys that is what it feels like. Its always like that. And its the exciting part of being in the sport, theyve been that every tester plays huge and obviously public expectation and the media will see tests in different light and different importance is on them but for us internally its a test match, we wa nt for us internally its a test match, we want to be at our best every time we want to be at our best every time we play. Washington nationals could go 3 0 up in baseballs world series tonight. Theyre playing Houston Astros in game three of the best of seven series and theres plenty of excitement around the city as this is the first time the event has been staged in the us capital since 1933 and not many expected washington to be so dominant but their coach knows exactly why theyre doing well. Im nota im not a fan of strike outs. And i dont like it. We talked about it, andi dont like it. We talked about it, and i want to discuss to understand that putting a ball and play with two strikes regardless if you get a hit or not is huge because anything can happen. One thing that happens when you strike out is that you put your head down and walked to the and put your badge in rack. Does not do anybody any good. We talked about how to become a better team mate, thats part of it. How to put the ball in play and make things happen and as you know, we did that yesterday really well. We just got to do a betterjob. And its baseball. You go through stretches. Throughout the season where you dont swing the bat or pitch or play defence the way you wa nt pitch or play defence the way you want to play it. And i think it takes one game to stop the bleeding current then you play one good game and the bleeding stops. Panic stops. And you Start Playing the way you wa nt and you Start Playing the way you want to play. Thats all the sport for now. Many thanks indeed. Dont forget you can get in touch with me and some of my team on twitter im benmbland. Last years suicide in scotland was at its highest level and five years. Been felt, with those on the front of suicide prevention. Disclosure is filmed in one area where this increase has been felt, with those on the front of suicide prevention. There are people we can get because they have acted on impulse. Thunderclaps. Cheering. Bagpipes play. That young pan was lloyd welsh. Less than three months after his death, and his family at their home, just a mile and a half from the stadium, they are still son them eckstein from sudden loss.
