Bardstown Bourbon Releases Second Collaboration With The Prisoner Wine Company
The Bardstown Bourbon Company recently released its second collaboration with The Prisoner Wine Company. The new release is a 100-proof, ten-year-old Tennessee bourbon aged for 18 months in French Oak red wine barrels used to age the wine company’s product, The Prisoner Red Blend.
With a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley, the bourbon contains what’s described by the brand as dark fruit aromatics, honey, vanilla and baking spices with hints of the original premium grape blend, leading into a balanced finish.
