Bandits kill nine in fresh Southern Kaduna attacks

Bandits suspected to be Fulani herdsmen again have invaded the Makarau Jankasa community in the Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing no fewer than nine persons, while scores of others sustained varying degrees of injury.

Our correspondent learnt that the hoodlums stormed the community around 5pm on Sunday, shooting indiscriminately at anyone and anything in sight.
Scores of residents of the area were reported to have fled their homes to neighbouring communities as a result of the heavy gunshots.
