Avon man suspected of continued domestic assault, stalking

An Avon man is suspected of stalking as well as four separate incidents of domestic assault over the course of a few months.
Scott Solon Schaefer-Bonovsky, 34, is charged with one count of stalking and seven counts of felony domestic assault, according to a criminal complaint filed in Stearns County District Court.
The criminal complaint details four separate instances of domestic assault following Schaefer-Bonovsky's release from prison, where he was for a previous conviction of offenses against the same woman.
During those instances, which span from January through March, Schaefer-Bonovsky is suspected of slapping the woman, punching her, holding her down and locking her inside an apartment with a padlock so the woman could not leave.
