Assemblyman Lester Chang: Speaker Carl Heastie must not expel the Brooklyn freshman

When the New York State Assembly meets today for its 205th session, Lester Chang, a duly elected Brooklyn freshman, must be seated like his 148 colleagues, including Carl Heastie, the past and presumptive future speaker. For the final remaining outstanding seat, representing the Rockaways, they are still counting ballots.
