assembly elections: Count on keeping the good - The Economic Times

To keep the elections clean and inclusive, the Election Commission (EC) announced a spate of transfers of officials and cleared nearly 32,000 complaints. On October 26, EC issued notice to two stalwart leaders, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of BJP and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. It's no coincidence, however, that only a few notices have been occasioned at the top level till now.
