The Assam government has revised restriction and imposed total restrictions on movement of persons at public places from 6 PM to 5 AM from Wednesday onwards. Earlier it was from 8 pm.

The order added, “For marriages, only religious part will be allowed with a presence of maximum of 20 (twenty) persons.
Assam finance minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said Assam will get 1.5 lakh COVID-19 vaccines and the state will symbolically start inoculation for 18 years and 44 years’ category from Wednesdays onwards .
