As extreme and slow onset weather events increase, so too are the public health issues that come with those changes. Climate change is one of many factors that can increase the spread of infectious diseases and public health concerns. Some existing health threats will intensify and new health threats will emerge. Not everyone is equally at risk. Important considerations include age, economic resources, and location. With this rise in certain countries, doctors have started to focus and anticipate health concerns related to climate. In some countries, climate change has been integrated into medical school modules for trainee doctors.
