Arrest made after Trussville PD drug bust at Queenstown Rd. home

TRUSSVILLE — A Trussville man is facing multiple charges after police executed a search warrant at his Queenstown Road home, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

According to jail records, Matthew Allan Applebaum, 41, is charged with distributing marijuana, distributing cocaine, distributing opiates, possession of a controlled substance (synthetic narcotic) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Members of the Trussville Police Department’s DEU and CID Units executed the search warrant around 6:30 a.m. at a home in the 3000 block of Queenstown Road.
Inside, detectives said they found 7.8 pounds of marijuana, THC edibles, THC wax, mushrooms, LSD strips, 18 grams of cocaine, pills, and other drug paraphernalia.
