The mum of fallen Scunthorpe soldier Anthony Lombardi has received a special gift from volunteers and the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
Helen Lombardi's home and garden has been made over to commemorate the memory of her son, who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country in 2009.
The craftsman, who was part of the REME corps, was 21 years old when the Spartan vehicle that he was driving was hit by an explosion in the Babaji district of Southern Helmand Province.
